Family Fun

We took our now annual trip to the Kalahari with the Russell's, Mom & JP, and Sara. It was a lot of fun. We got one of those 3 bedroom condos with individual rooms and a shared kitchen & living room. There is so much to do, and the kids love it all. A new activity this trip was to take the boys on the "toilet bowl" ride. You basically slide into a large bowl shaped slide, and then after going around a time or two, you drop through a large hole in the bottom of the bowl into the water. The boys loved it!

We are #1 !!!

Yes. It's official. The first ever number 1 ranking in the mens AP Basketball poll! I just love being a badger alum. The game on Saturday was awesome - thanks Beth & Rick for taking us!!

Good Boy

Yes, this is my youngest with the words "good boy" on his forehead. The story is a little unclear but it goes like this. My dad was watching the boys and one of them came down with the letters "good" on his forehead in washable (thank goodness) marker. He asked what they were doing and the response was "writing good boy on his forehead". Instead of a negative response, Pops finished the phrase and wrote the same phrase on his other grandson. G then wanted to draw hearts on his cheeks and Pops said - sure!

So both boys were decorated in a similar fashion when I came home from lunch. I think we're all happy that Pops is very fun and Mom goes with the flow - at least some of the time :).

Travel is fun

At least that's what people think when they find out you travel all the time. But reality says, not so much. I've been thinking about starting a blog for a while, but it wasn't until my flight was cancelled tonight and I found myself with 3 hours to kill after a cancelled flight that I actually pulled the trigger. So here I am, in the Detroit Airport, saying - let's get this started!

I'm hoping to provide updates, and in most cases, pictures to our friends and family that live close & far.
