Anja Jean

It was really great having Anja & Martin visit from Germany. Anja was our first Au Pair 6.5 years ago - time really does fly. We had a great visit, but too short. We celebrated her 27th birthday (and Vickie's as well) at the Nitty Gritty just as we did for her 21st. The boys really enjoyed playing with her, and ran poor Martin ragged - but he seemed to love it.

We hope to be able to return the visit soon!

A Good Friday Adventure

The day ended with a trip to Ft. McHenry. It was a great day for visiting the Fort. I a bit brisk which probably kept the crowds away, but still nice enough to walk the grounds and teach the boys a bit about American History and our national Anthem. The views from that location are just gorgeous. What a great end to the day!!

Our first stop was the Maryland Science Center in Baltimore's Inner Harbor. The boys loved the Dinosaur area, Einstein's play area and this tornado machine. It's great to see their minds working and asking questions.
